Obagi Skin Care.... The Best!!

If you are looking for the best skincare products, and want to browse as much without getting annoyed by a sales assistant, Drug Stores in Japan (metropolitan area) are the best place to go. They have huge range of skin care products from all over the world.
The most popular products for Japanese female are 'Whitening Products'. Not that they are trying to become as white as MJ but these products are known to brighten your skin and reduce hyperpigmentation. Obviously not every single products work but I am proud to say that I have found one that really works!!

The brand is called 'Obagi'. Obagi skin care products were created by internationally renowned dermatologist Dr. Zein E. Obagi. The products are designed to prevent and improve the most common and visible skin disorders in adult skin, such as acne, deep wrinkle, age spots and sun-damage.... and yes, I have experienced the most of these problems.

I must say I was a bit skeptical at first. Because I have never come across with skin care products which satisfy my expectations, and also they were not cheap. Anyways, I purchased 'Obagi-C Cleansing Gel' and 'Obagi Professional-C Serum 10%' and decided to eat McDonald for dinner.

I started seeing some difference after 4 weeks. My skin felt a lot softer and brighter and my age spots were getting smaller. My work mates and friends started complementing on my skin and asking what I was using. And the biggest assurance of all, my ex-boyfriend said to me "What have you been doing to yourself? You look amazing." I felt so goooooood.

Yes, I have been using Obagi products ever since and my skin condition is better than ever. And I would like to recommend this amazing products to anyone who are looking for 'the real thing'. Although I must say that Obagi skincare system is not recommended to pregnant women and people with certain skin conditions. I will leave few links for you to read and decide yourself if this products is for you or not.

Gotta love those BIG EYES!

Fake eyelashes are getting very popular, especially in Asian countries such as Japan, Korea and China. I was mesmerized by the varieties of fake eye lashes in Japanese drug stores when I was holidaying there in February. Long, super long, short, beginners, experts and many more! There were even ones called 'princess look' and 'sexy lady look'.... I believe one in three Japanese girls (especially in metropolitan areas) are wearing those fake eyelashes.

So I decided to give it a go. I picked 'beginners' one even though I was very interested in 'sexy lady look'....
First: Trim those fake eyelashes to my eye size.
Second: Put the special glue on and let it dry a little bit. The one I bought had the glue which changed its colour when it dried and ready.
Third: Place those eyelashes carefully about 2mm above your real eyelashes.

Sounds easy, doesn't it?

Certainly it wasn't for me....it took me more than 30 minutes! I guess I need some practice but I would rather sleep in for 30 minutes for now.

Chanel Chance

Personally I am not a huge fan of Chanel perfume. I find the most of their scent are quite strong for my taste and also reminds me of my not-so-favorite aunt. (I think she was wearing No.5)

It's a strange thing but our taste change as you get older....in food, music, makeup style, type of men etc...and also in scent too. I guess it's good that I no longer have to leave the room whenever my aunt visits. I do still get annoyed though when she starts showing off her new Rolex collections....

I have fallen in love is Chanel Chance because it has beautiful feminine scent and it lasts all day. And I get compliments almost whenever I go.....even when I was buying a train ticket this morning!

Here is a bit more about Chanel Chance:

Chance for Women was created by Chanel in 2003 and is designed to bring you a wave of freshness each day. Chance perfume by Chanel is a sensual, sweet, and spicy blend of hyacinth, white musk, pink pepper, fresh vetiver, iris, amber, and patchouli.

Love my i.d. bareMinerals Foundation!

I discovered this i.d. bareMinerals in Japanese infomercial when I was having a holiday there. Well, I usually don't buy things from those channels but I was very intrigued by those beautiful skinned Japanese actresses, (Yes, TV commercials work on me very well....) and before the whole commercial ended, I was already making a purchase on the phone.

So it was a very much impulse buy but I have never regretted ever since.
I don't like those sticky oil based foundations which clog your pores and never be friendly to your blouse collar. i.d. bareMinerals foundation is so light and you feel like as if you are not wearing any make up. You can also avoid unnatural 'cake-up' look in day light.

Here is more about i.d. bareMinerals products:

BareMIneral makeup is one of the most popular natural brands on the market. Their mineral makeup is a true natural product with no preservatives, talc, oil, waxes, fragrances or other chemicals. The essence of mineral cosmetics is a mineral powder that goes onto your skin like a cream. Due to the minerals influence, the makeup provides a natural luminosity that is actually good for your skin. By the nature of its composition, mineral makeup is a natural sun protector. BareMineral makeup provides a SPF 15. In addition to the sunscreen function, mineral makeup is particularly beneficial for sensitive skins with scars, acne, wrinkles, discolorations or allergies.
